Joe Terrill, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, CSCS, TPI-M2-F2, GFS, MFDc
Founder, Performance Physical Therapist
I was born and raised right here in the Central Valley (Lindsay). I took an interest in sports, health, fitness, and the outdoors in general from an early age. I played a wide variety of sports as a youth, but particularly developed a passion for golf, baseball, football, and billiards, as well as a deep-rooted love for exploring our local mountains (the further off into nature, the better). Now, my sports and hobbies are the same as the people I work with.
With over 25 years of experience in athletic strength and conditioning, I’m passionate about helping athletes perform at their peak—whether it’s on the golf course, baseball field, or hiking trail. I’ve had the incredible privilege of working with some of the top 500 golfers in the world, helping them both recover from injury and push their performance to compete at the highest level of their sport. I’ve also had the rewarding experience of working with high school and collegiate baseball players, guiding them through injury recovery and pushing performance, as far as achieving All-American honors, and going on to perform well at both the collegiate and professional levels.
After physical therapy school, I began to really see the the flaws in our healthcare system, especially when it comes to keeping everyday athletes participating in the activities they love. Our healthcare system just doesn’t put a priority on injury prevention and high-performance activities. That’s why I decided to open Driven Athletic Performance & Physical Therapy – an opportunity for all of the people who don’t want to fall through the cracks in our healthcare system, who want to continue doing the activities they love at a high level, and who are looking for the advantages a Performance Physical Therapist can provide.
My approach combines hands-on manual therapy and exercise-based treatments to address the root cause of pain and improve performance. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or looking to optimize your game, I’m committed to taking the time to listen to your concerns, get to the root cause of the problem, and tailor a 1-on-1 treatment plan designed specifically for you.
Thanks for taking an interest in who we are and what we do here at Driven. I’m excited to meet you, and look forward to helping build a Better You from the ground up. Let’s take your game (and your life) to the next level!
